How It Works
A defined process, with a decision point at every stage.
Nine stages from first conversation to completion. Each produces something specific, and none advances without your authorisation.
Preparation
We establish what a sale would involve for you before anything is committed to. Objectives, timing, and the shape of an acceptable outcome are agreed first, because every later decision refers back to them.
Business Assessment
A structured review of financial performance, customer concentration, operations, and management depth. The purpose is to surface what a buyer will find during diligence while there is still time to address it.
Valuation
An evidence-based view of value, with the reasoning shown. You see the assumptions and the ranges, not a single number presented without context.
Market Readiness
Gaps identified in assessment are closed and the supporting record is assembled. A business that enters the market prepared negotiates from a materially stronger position.
Confidential Marketing
Your company is presented to the market without being identified. Interested parties see an anonymised profile and receive nothing further until they are qualified and under a signed agreement.
Buyer Matching
Interest is filtered against acquisition criteria, funding capability, and strategic fit. The objective is a small number of credible conversations, not a long list of enquiries.
Due Diligence
Information is released in stages, on your authority, through a controlled and audited process. You see who accessed what, and when.
Letter of Intent
Terms are negotiated with the structure, conditions, and consequences set out plainly, so nothing in the document is a surprise later.
Closing Support
Coordination through final diligence, legal documentation, and completion, including the transition arrangements that follow it.
Throughout
What stays constant.
Three things hold at every stage, not just the ones where they are convenient.
You authorise every disclosure
No identifying information reaches any party without your explicit approval of that party, at that stage.
Everything is recorded
Who accessed which document, and when. Not as a report generated after the fact, but as the record the process itself runs on.
You can stop
An engagement can be paused or ended. Preparation work remains yours and retains its value whenever you return to it.
Where would you like to begin?
Most owners start with a confidential conversation about where their business stands today.
