About Lexmore
Built around the problem owners actually have.
Selling a company is one of the largest financial events in an owner's life, and it is usually navigated once, with incomplete information, against parties who do this professionally.
Our Mission
Make a considered sale the normal outcome.
Too many good businesses transact below what they were worth, on terms the owner did not fully understand, because preparation started too late and information was disorganised when it mattered most.
Lexmore exists to change that: structured preparation, genuine confidentiality, and enough transparency that an owner can interrogate the advice they are given rather than take it on trust.
Our Approach
Software for structure. People for judgement.
The administrative weight of a transaction — organising evidence, checking completeness, tracking disclosure, keeping the record straight — is exactly what software is good at, and exactly what makes preparation drag when done by hand.
What software is not good at is judgement: what the numbers mean, where to hold in a negotiation, which buyer is credible. We are deliberate about which side of that line each part of the work falls on.
Our Values
What we hold to.
Confidentiality is the product
Every design decision starts here. If a feature would make disclosure easier to get wrong, it does not ship.
Say the difficult thing early
If a business is not ready, or an offer is weaker than it looks, the useful time to say so is before it costs something.
Show the reasoning
Valuations and recommendations come with the assumptions visible. Advice you cannot interrogate is advice you cannot rely on.
The owner decides
We advise. Disclosure, terms, and whether to proceed at all are the owner's, at every stage.
